Frequently Asked Questions
What is 777 TDS?
A free NFL game by The Cast Patrol. Draft an offence of 10 with their career touchdowns hidden, then add them up. Can your team reach 777 touchdowns combined?
How do you play 777 TDS?
Pick a mode, then you are offered three random NFL players at a time. Choose one for your team without seeing their touchdowns. You have 20 seconds to pick, or the first option goes in. Repeat until every spot is filled: a quarterback, two running backs, four wide receivers, a tight end and two FLEX spots (a running back, receiver or tight end). Your total is revealed as you go.
What are the modes?
777+: reach 777 career TDs or more, with one of each wildcard. Exactly 777: land on 777 on the dot, under or over is a miss, and it’s Hard Mode: no free wildcards, only paid ones, one of each a game. Team Spin: choose a position, then spin a team and season and pick from that roster. HIGHER OR LOWER: NFL: is the next player’s number higher or lower? Call it before the clock runs out.
What are Legends?
Now and then in 777+, one offer is a Legends Pick: three of the greats whose careers were mostly before 1999, like Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton. Their touchdowns are hidden like everyone else’s, and they count their whole careers. You get one at most per game, and it can turn up late in a game, just when you need it most.
How do the leaderboards work?
Sign in free with a CAST Profile and pick a username. Your best game in every mode goes up automatically on today’s, this week’s and the all-time boards. Tap any name to see the team behind the score, with the luck of their draw. Exactly 777 ranks the most exact hits, then the closest team.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play as a guest, and your games stay on this device. A free CAST Profile (Google or Apple, for ages 13 and over) saves your history, stats and trophies across every CAST game, puts you on the leaderboards and gives you wildcards every game.
What does the Luck number mean?
After each game we compare the touchdowns on every card you were offered with what an average game deals you. Luck +23% means you drew 23% more touchdowns than usual; a minus number means a tough draw. Your first offer and any Legends Pick are left out. You see it on your results and on leaderboard team sheets.
What are wildcards?
Reroll (Respin in Team Spin) gives you a fresh offer, Reveal TDs shows the touchdowns for everyone on the current offer, and Remove Player takes one player out of your team so you can draft again. Each can be used once per game.
Which touchdowns count?
Every touchdown a player scored himself in the NFL regular season, over his whole career: rushing, receiving, kick and punt returns, and interception and fumble returns. Passing touchdowns never count, so a quarterback scores only the ones he ran in (or caught). Playoff games are not included. The pool is every running back, receiver, tight end and quarterback with 5 or more scored touchdowns who played since 1999, plus 30 Legends.
Where do the numbers come from?
Seasons from 1999 on come from nflverse player stats, checked against Wikipedia. Seasons before 1999 and the Legends’ careers come from Wikipedia. The numbers are up to date as of Week 5 of the 2026 season. Spot something that looks wrong? Let us know and we’ll check it.
How do I contact you or report a bug?
