Frequently Asked Questions
What is 100000 POINTS?
A free NBA game by The Cast Patrol. Draft a starting five with their career NBA points hidden, then add them up. Can your team reach 100000 points combined?
How do you play 100000 POINTS?
Pick a mode, then you are offered three random NBA players at a time. Choose one for your team without seeing their points. You have 20 seconds to pick, or the first option goes in. Repeat until all five spots are filled: a point guard, a shooting guard, a small forward, a power forward and a centre. A player can fill a spot he really played. Your total is revealed as you go.
What are the modes?
100000+: reach 100000 career points or more, with one of each wildcard. Exactly 100000: land on 100000 on the dot, under or over is a miss, and it’s Hard Mode: no free wildcards, only paid ones, one of each a game. Team Spin: choose a position, then spin a team and season and pick from that roster. HIGHER OR LOWER: NBA: is the next player’s number higher or lower? Call it before the clock runs out.
What are Legends?
Now and then in 100000+, one offer is a Legends Pick: three of the retired greats with 25000 or more NBA points, like Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant. Their points are hidden like everyone else’s, and they count their whole careers. You get one at most per game, and it can turn up late in a game, just when you need it most.
How do the leaderboards work?
Sign in free with a CAST Profile and pick a username. Your best game in every mode goes up automatically on today’s, this week’s and the all-time boards. Tap any name to see the team behind the score, with the luck of their draw. Exactly 100000 ranks the most exact hits, then the closest team.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play as a guest, and your games stay on this device. A free CAST Profile (Google or Apple, for ages 13 and over) saves your history, stats and trophies across every CAST game, puts you on the leaderboards and gives you wildcards every game.
What does the Luck number mean?
After each game we compare the points on every card you were offered with what an average game deals you. Luck +23% means you drew 23% more points than usual; a minus number means a tough draw. Your first offer and any Legends Pick are left out. You see it on your results and on leaderboard team sheets.
What are wildcards?
Reroll (Respin in Team Spin) gives you a fresh offer, Reveal Points shows the points for everyone on the current offer, and Remove Player takes one player out of your team so you can draft again. Each can be used once per game.
Which points count?
Every point a player scored in the NBA regular season, over his whole career, including the BAA seasons from 1946 that the NBA counts as its own. Playoff games and ABA points are not included. The pool is every player with 2000 or more NBA points, plus 21 Legends.
Where do the numbers come from?
Career points come from the NBA’s own stats at NBA.com, checked against Basketball-Reference, which also gives each player’s positions and teams. The numbers are up to date after the 2025-26 season. Spot something that looks wrong? Let us know and we’ll check it.
How do I contact you or report a bug?
Use the form: pick what it’s about, tell us what happened and we’ll reply by email. Every message gets a reference number, so nothing gets lost.
Is 100000 POINTS free to play?
Completely free. No download needed. Open your browser, draft your team and play.
Who made 100000 POINTS?
The Cast Patrol, the team behind CAST Games.
Is 100000 POINTS affiliated with the NBA?
